"Who" or what is the actual problem? Would you like to read our most radical definition of DYSLEXIA?
"Dyslexia is NOT a LEARNING-disability, it is a TEACHING-disability" (from the book: "The Gift of Dyslexia" by Ronald D. Davis).
This of course shouldn't be in any way negative regarding teachers in general, but we want to bring our honest conviction straight to the point, saying that the only problem in dyslexia (as well as dyscalculia) is the different way of perceiving and processing information, which results in the need of a different teching method.
Even if the symptoms give the impression that there is a personal problem, we experience on a daily basisin our work with clients those phenomenons as a variety of appearences and expression of certain TALENTS.
With DYSLEXIC TALENT we would like to contribute to this understanding of the dyslexic phenomenon. If this would finally help create this understanding and acceptance one of our goals would be achieved.
This different way of learning can easily be implemented in EVERY classroom.
If it was implemented, most of the people concerned including their families could reduce the negativity which can occur due to the misunderstandings to a large degree. At the same time the TALENTS could finally be recognized and used appropriately. Only then the true potential of the persons concerned will be able to develop freely and flourish in all parts of their lives.
